Recession hit the entire globe,The stocks drooped down.employee s lost jobs.and one of the worst hit are some students recruited(on campus) by cap gemini in 2008.Its neither the late joining dates nor the technical re-interviews conducted(for students already selceted).Its the treatment given by the CG hr s recently.
Students are mailed by an HR on 29th dec 2009(11:07 am ) for a technical re interview to be held on 29 th dec 2009 from 11 am to 5 pm. and on 30 th dec,2009( 9 am to 10 am.) for obvious reasons students prefer to come on 30 th dec 2009. All the students wait for their interview proccess to start from 9 in the morining to 3 in the afternoon.After which half of the students get the news to go back home since a large number of students turned up.
I just want to say that in what sort of MNC do you get a mail on the very same day of the interview.and what sort of management this is? in the morning you realize that the number of students is huge and at 3 pm (after waiting for 6 long hours) you ask them to go back. is this a MNC working here or a government office? students are being taken for granted.
I have no hard feelings for any individual person or the company but i am really disappointed at the way things work here.i guess this is just the begning for the freshers like us.

i m totally agree with u anuskha . Even i was the part of the batch which has been called for reinterview on 30 th dec . I am very disappointed by the manner in which they r treating us . First batch was called for GD and second batch has been called for TECH reinterview . Y der is discrimination between the two batches ? .

I have come across many students of batch 1 who cleared the GD but still waiting for the joining date . the question CG asking to dem every time is "r u ready to join on 18 th dec ? "r u ready to join on 28 th dec " Can u cme for reinterview on 29-30 th dec ? Even after saying "yes we r ready to join u nytime " the reply for CG is u ll be informed by the HR about further proceeding . They hav been wating for HR's responce but no 1 has got ny mail or a single call.
what happend on 30th dec was a bullshit. People were waiting outside the CG office from 9 am n they hav been told to go back home at 3pm due to non sufficient interview panels. What d bullshit is this ? is this the management we expect from MNC like CG ?
in meantime, no coffee/tea or even the water was not offered to us . We were waiting till 3.0 pm without nything in our stomach.
Me too agree with u anushka.....in my case i was out of town on 29th n saw that mail @ 9PM itz next to impossible for me to catch even any flight for mumbai....i called dem n dey were not even receiving my calls.......after 2 hr ordeal finally i talked to ms ruby n she just said that mail was not for u ppl n just ignore it......i mean what kindda behaviour is this yaar...n when i asked abt our joining den she said we will call u for that.....n put off d phone..i m very disappointed with d behaviour of d company.....n if in future if i will join CG this behaviour wud b intolerable......
